Dr. Tracy Candella was born and raised in the small rural town of Scandia, Pennsylvania. She grew up on a farm with her parents and two younger sisters, where they raised, trained, and showed horses. Dr. Candella was an active participant in the local 4-H program throughout elementary and high school, and was a leader for the local 4-H group, until she left for veterinary school in 2008. Dr. Candella received her Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Pittsburgh. She went on to complete veterinary school at St. George’s University, where she met her husband Chris, and then finished her clinical year at the University of Georgia in 2012.  The Candellas currently reside in Bluff Dale with their 2 daughters Karli and Emily, 2 dogs, Mattie and Stitch, 2 horses, Mystique and Bo, and 4 fish.
